We are seeking a warm, patient, emotionally intuitive Companion Caregiver to support a high-functioning 91-year-old woman in Westport. She is physically independent -- she walks daily, dresses and bathes herself, and navigates stairs -- but she benefits greatly from companionship, calm emotional support, and transportation during the day. As a composer and a music therapist, music is the way she expresses herself. Responsibilites included: Companionship, emotional understanding & support, reassurance when she feels anxious or overwhelmed, some assistance with medication, light housekeeping, appointments, meal preparation, running errands and transportation as needed. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained.
