I'm looking to schedule in-home elderly care in Central Village (Plainfield) Connecticut for my 78-year-old father who has dementia. He still has decent mobility and does not use a cane, walker, or chair. The assistance we're looking for is cooking, shopping, light house cleaning, laundry, prescription reminders, bathing reminders, errands, some doctor's visits, help caring for his cat, and general companionship. Hours needed are Monday - Friday from 8:00 to 1:00 p.m. There may be opportunities from time to time to get additional hours if desired covering for other caregivers who may need time off. Preference is for the selected candidate to live within 30 minutes of Central Village. The position is open immediately and candidates will be interviewed briefly at the care location in Central Village.
