My Mom is a sweet 66-year-old lady. She used to be a grade school teacher. In 2010 was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She has lost all mobility except her right arm and her neck and head. She does require a hoyer to be transferred in and out of bed. She has a catheter as well as a pressure wound. Experience in skilled nursing is encouraged! She loves to wake up around 9am, eat her yogurt and coffee and then do her makeup. Around 10-11am, her LPN will come by and do her wound dressing and vitals. Around noon, she'll have lunch and lay on her side to do some off-loading. She loves to sit outside and get fresh air, and some sunshine. In the evenings, we do more off-loading and dinner. Some days she has doctor appointments. Each day is different! :) She loves to take the dog for a walk. She loves to paint and any cute arts and crafts projects! She loves her Spotify music! We also enjoy going to get pedicures. CNA preferred, caregiving skills, skilled nursing. Experience with a hoyer would be great There is parking in front of her house along the street. Butters is a corgie/shepard/heeler mix, she is 14 years old. Bandit is the black cat, he likes to hide and you'll rarely see him. Her roommate has two cats, but they are usually in the basement. We very rarely see them.
