About who needs care: My mother-in-law, Sandy has dementia but is in the early stages still. She gets help from my mom but my mom is also old and not able to take care of her all day. They mostly need light housekeeping, prepping meals, and helping Sandy get dressed and get breakfast. Maybe occasionally some walks out or trips to the pool. She cannot be left alone. She gets lost easily. About the care needs: Responsible, strong, smart, kind. It would be extra special if that person was a Buddhist or had spiritual curiosity. Sandy was a well-known published writer, scholar and teacher of women in Buddhism. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
