About who needs care: My father has COPD, Sleep Apnea, Right Bundle Branch Block, Mild Heart Murmur, Fatty Liver, Prediabetes, Osteoarthritis in his knees, Spinal Stenosis, High Occular Pressure and Mild Parkinsons. His hobbies include reading scholarly journals, researching alternatives to modern medicine, watching TV, and gardening. He used to play soccer, but now just watches games. He is fluent in English and Spanish. About the care needs: We need someone who is kind, patient, skilled with handling fall-risks, parkinsons, heart conditions, and occasional dementia-like outbursts. This person has to be strong to catch or pick him up off the floor. Bilingual preferred. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands/shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing/dressing, and mobility assistance.
