Care needed for my quick witted and sarcastic mom in Shingle Springs. Diagnosed with cancer and will be starting chemo-radiation. Must be able to: assist with light house keeping, provide companionship, medication reminders, appointment reminders, and help with meal preparation. Would be great if: you were familiar with removal and replacement of colostomy bags, had any prior experience with cancer patients, could provide transportation to an appointment if needed. Currently, she is pretty independent and doesn't require assistance with dressing, eating, bathing but I'm not sure what her capabilities will be once the chemo-radiation starts. She only needs check ins a couple times a week right now but, again, not sure if that will change with treatment. Job schedule is flexible.
