We have 24 hour care for my mother in San Diego but we need coverage for 36 hours, from 7 p.m. Christmas Eve through 7 a.m. on December 26th. Since these shifts are over the holidays the pay will be $33/hour (time and a half the normal rate) for all hours worked. We will probably need two caregivers to help cover these shifts. Other shifts may become available in the future so it is a good way to get in the door. Although my mom suffers from dementia she has a very positive demeanor. She has lived in the same house for 55 years so she is very comfortable there and enjoys being there. Additional responsibilities include feeding, bathing and meal prep. We are looking for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Also, this is a W-2 position so wages are reported and taxes will be withheld.
