About who needs care: Advanced stage uterine/endometrial cancer. Currently being treated with immunotherapy. She has her ups and downs. Someone around a few hours a few days a week could be helpful. Not only to help her with pills and some easy tasks but also to talk to and keep her mind off of her disease. About the care needs: Someone who can talk and do crafts with her to keep her mind off her condition. It would be great to have someone familiar with caring for someone that experiences chronic pain and disease. I think having someone around even if they are not a nurse could give her confidence and not worry as much. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
