About who needs care: Father is on hospice - has a-fib, diabetes, CHF- fell 8-10 weeks ago. Was in hospital for a week with cellulitis of left leg, and sent home on hospice. I have been on LOA from work for 8 weeks and am slated to return at the end of October. This leaves my elderly mother (90 yrs) to care for my father on her own. About the care needs: I would like someone that has a quiet personality. Not boisterous. A good listener, able to manage an individual that is bedridden and has poor eyesight and hearing. In terms of background, I would like to secure someone that has had background in geriatric care, hospice care, and is licensed to lift, roll, etc., (CNA, HHA, etc.,). My father has not had a surgery, but has recovered from cellulitis of the leg Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
