About who needs care: Vascular Dementia with aphasia; fairly stable with walking, but needs assistance in the bathroom/incontinence; enjoys outdoor activities, mild exercise, bird watching, trips to the zoo and parks, anywhere he can observe nature; he likes dogs and cats and kids and music, and discussing his past About the care needs: Someone, preferably a male (Dad is shy in the bathroom), with a big personality would be great (and someone BIG physically... Dad is a small man but if he falls, someone strong needs to lift him up). Ideally, a big Tongan man who can engage our father with activities and memory care, do some cooking from time to time, listen to and maybe play music together, do some chair yoga, and just basically relieve our mother who can't seem to find the right person. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
