About who needs care: He has dementia caused by alzheimer's. No significant medical issues at this time. He has had mini strokes but he is mobile and able to do his basic self care. He likes watching TV, Young and the Restless. Ideal day is feeding the dogs and cats followed by breakfast, watch some TV, sweep and pick up around the kitchen and living room, lunch and maybe a nap. About the care needs: Someone who is patient. He hides things and cannot find them. We don't want this person to look for things just to placate him that it will turn up or someone from the family will help him look later. This person needs to like to be told stories about his past, experiences and his family. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
