Need caregiver with experience to provide care following complex orthopedic surgery, mornings, 8:00 to 12:00, for two weeks. For showering, personal care, getting dressed, transfer help, putting on compression stockings correctly, etc. Applicant must have actual experience with patients fresh from surgery. Also, unload dishwasher from night before, prepare lunch, straighten my bed, coaching with in-home PT as directed, etc. One person might not be able to work all 14 days in a row, so I'm interviewing with that in mind. Note: I'm not heavy so one person is sufficient for help with transferring: 110 lbs. I manage all my own medications. Physical therapist will be coming to my home. Also, I'm a retired RN myself and can direct the caregiver as needed.
