About who needs care: My mom had undiagnosed nerve damage which has left her bed bound and immobile. Im in college and can care for her on my days off, but she has a purewick catheter which will need checked/changed, cleaning after bowel movements, and help eating throughout the day. She has slight mobility in her legs - can lift them and flex her feet - but that is the extent of her lower extremity movement. About the care needs: I would like someone who is nice, personable, but still able to handle stubborn patients. I would like someone with previous caregiving experience and some PT experience so she can exercise the muscles in her feet and arms so she doesnt get any weaker. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
