About who needs care: My dad is in a wheelchair with a spinal condition. He needs help transferring into bed and back to his wheelchair. He is living on the main floor of his house. There is an electric lift as well if needed to help him transfer. Responsibilities • Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) • Assist with mobility and transfers with person in wheelchair • Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed • Perform light housekeeping and laundry • Offer companionship and emotional support • Run errands and accompany client to appointments • Monitor and report changes in condition • Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation • Ordering medical supplies and sorting prescriptions • Assisting in scheduling and training other caregivers • Ability to drive a mobility van
