About who needs care: My dad uses a walker and spends most of his day in his recliner. He sleeps a lot. My sister lives with him during the week and my brother goes over weekdays. My dad has congestive heart failure, diabetes and skin cancer. He does puzzles and watches tv. The care giver would helps with meds, meals, helping him to the bathroom, dressing him, hygiene. Not much interaction is required. About the care needs: Someone kind, friendly and understanding, but ok with not being super chatty. He just needs supervision and assistance when required. Help getting to bed. Meals. Bathroom. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
