About who needs care: Spouse had a stroke and has a left side weakness. He can help roll himself in the bed, he requires a hoyer lift, but he can't tolerate being in a wheelchair for long yet, weighs 180 lbs. He likes to talk and crack jokes. I will need a night-time help at first until I see how well he sleeps at night. I have someone for the mornings; but I will need someone in the afternoon for about 4 hours too. About the care needs: easy going - talkative - likes to joke around. he may need his brief changed, so experience with changing while in bed, possibly hoyer lift (experience and assistance with cooking and feeding - for afternoon) Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
