About who needs care: Parkinsons. Confined to wheelchair and bed. Retired lawyer. About the care needs: Able to handle mobility issues, help with correspondence/communication. We have needed equipment (transfer chair, electric chair, van, comfortable home). Looking for someone with empathy and strength. Would join an existing team of family members and caretakers. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
