About who needs care: - Mom has moderate dementia. - She enjoys watching game shows and crafts. - Our family prepares meals for her in advance. - She is primarily wheelchair bound with the ability to sit up on her own in bed and transfer to/from bed to wheelchair with assistance. - We need at-home assistance with evenings starting around 6/7 p.m. until 10/11 p.m. for 3-6 nights a week. About the care needs: - Her ideal personal care assistant/companion is someone who has experience with dementia patients, who is organized and structured, is exceptionally patient, and shows a lot of compassion for the elderly. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
