Part-Time Dementia Caregiver In Moseley (Hoyer Lift Required)

About the job

We are seeking a gentle, patient, and dependable caregiver for my 94-year-old mother in our home in Moseley. She has dementia, uses a wheelchair, and is fully incontinent. She requires full assistance with personal care and Hoyer lift experience is required for transfers. She is very sweet and enjoys: Listening to Elvis Presley Looking at her newspaper Coloring and simple crafts Quiet, warm conversation Bible passages or devotionals Watching birds and flowers Your role will focus on safety, companionship and engagement, as well as personal care. Schedule: afternoons until 6 -6:30 p.m. Flexible on which days and how many days per week Requirements: Hoyer lift experience (required) Non-smoker Experience with dementia and incontinence If this sounds like it may be a good fit, we would love to talk with you.
