About who needs care: My mother has lymphoedema and has had trouble walking for a few weeks now. She is now in a wheelchair and has little to no mobility. About the care needs: I'm looking for someone who can lift my mother out of bed (she weighs over 200 pounds), on the portable toilet, and into her wheelchair for work(she works from home 9am-5pm). My work schedule is usually 2pm-12:30 a.m. with my off days alternating each week (I always work Fridays), so I need a caregiver who can get her ready for work on the week days while I also get ready, and come at night to change her a few hours before I come back from work. Personality wise, an outgoing and patient caregiver would best suit her. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
