About who needs care: My mother is doing her best to recover from longterm health issues, but is struggling to be anywhere but her bed. She is unable to move unassisted. She loves the Victorian Era, and enjoys having books read to her, talking a lot, and companionship. My father is her primary caregiver, who is in his 80s and needs help. No family lives in-state, so I am trying to find them someone we can rely on. About the care needs: Someone who is very experienced is a must. Someone who is proactive, talkative, genuine, patient, warm, and trustworthy, to help my father with her care by providing personal care assistance, house cleaning/chores, meal prep., etc. Ideally, someone who loves Downtown Abbey, the Victorian Era, Musicals, and someone who can naturally stay positive around someone who struggles to feel hope. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
