About who needs care: Has some memory issues. Is somewhat independent -- uses a walker, can feed herself, can change her own clothes, but appreciates help, She likes to watch TV, walk around the house, have snacks and meals, look at coffee table books and magazines, go out in the garden if the weather is nice. Go on outings with the family occasionally. About the care needs: Somewhat who is patient, kind, friendly, smiles a lot. Someone who isn't shy and will talk to my relative (who understands some English and speaks a little bit), a Thai speaker would be ideal! Someone who will spend time with her, is helpful, can prepare light meals, do her laundry sometimes, help keep her clothes and belongings neat and tidy. Knows how to take blood pressure and temperature, can help her with bathing and getting changed/dressed. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
