About who needs care: Our daughter is a friendly, bright young adult with Cerebral Palsy who uses a wheelchair and requires assistance with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, feeding, and mobility transfers. She enjoys going on outings, going on coffee runs, and participating in social activities. Her ideal day includes a mix of personal care and engaging activities in or outside the home. She benefits from a calm, patient companion who is reliable, attentive, and willing to help her stay active and comfortable. About the care needs: Were looking for someone compassionate, patient, and dependable who truly enjoys supporting others. A good fit would be someone comfortable working with young adults with physical disabilities and confident with safe lifting and transferring. Experience in personal care or healthcare is helpful but not required if you are willing to learn. Our ideal caregiver is also a good communicator, able to follow directions in English or Spanish, and willing to help with light cooking, laundry, and driving to appointments or activities. Reliability and a positive attitude are a must. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
