About who needs care: I am inquiring regarding my mother-in-law Rebecca and mostly to get information for her husband, Paul (who is good health but overwhelmed). Rebecca has progressing dementia and uses a walker. Her physical and mental abilities are diminishing. Paul needs help with household chores, as well as personal care for Rebecca to allow him to take breaks. About the care needs: Someone who is engaging, friendly, and patient. Rebecca was always vibrant and funny. As things are progressing, she has become more short tempered with Paul. I think anyone who might be able to provide some opportunity for activities (even in home - like puzzles or something stimulating other than looking at ads on her phone) would be so helpful! Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
