Help needed for our 60-year-old deaf mom who uses ASL. She's very small, medically fragile, and in late-stage kidney failure (hospice expected soon). ASL knowledge a plus; family will help with communication. Responsibilities Include: Assistance with bathing (including transfers into a jacuzzi style bathtub) Occasional bathroom help (incontinence support or cleanup if accidents occur) Light meal prep assistance if needed Help with dressing and light grooming Ideal Candidate Will Be: Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working with someone who is deaf Physically able to assist with mobility and transfers Respectful of privacy, boundaries, and cultural differences A good communicator, even if non-verbal (basic gestures or visual cues)
