About who needs care: We are looking to move my grandmother back into our lake property from her current assisted living facility. My grandmother would be more at peace being back in her home and we believe she would receive better individualized care in the home. My grandmother is a beautiful soul who just needs assistance with basic needs. She is fairly content and nice to spend time with. About the care needs: A good fit for my grandmother would be someone who is kind, respectful, and generally quiet. At this point in her life, she is content just sitting and watching tv shows or enjoying the sun outside. She does not need to be entertained, and does not like feeling like a burden on others. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
