About who needs care: I am having shoulder replacement surgery and need help for myself and my husband who has dementia. We are both able to walk and need light housekeeping and lunch preparation. We have 2 middle age dogs who are friendly. There is a fenced yard so the dogs can just be let out as needed. I am looking for weekday help for the first 2 ish weeks and then 2x a week long term for my husband so I can get out. About the care needs: My husband is quiet and has difficulty talking. He does understand what is going on around him. I am expecting to need help dressing making the bed and running the vacuum cleaner. Our adult son is here in the evenings and will help us with dinner and shopping. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
