Loves nature, going on scenic drives, drawing, singing, church Breakfast 8am, prayers, exercise, late morning nap or drive, lunch 12:30, drive, activity, reading or appt, dinner 5:30, TV program, bed 8:30 About the care needs: Playful relaxed personality Experience and comfortable with dementia symptoms. Attention to details in maintaining home and my mom (i. e. making sure hearing aids are well placed and batteries charged, anticipating shopping needs, communicating softly and bit playful. Does not take dementia agitation personally - able to be calm, needs of moment, and be playful if possible. Treat my mom more like a friend than patient. Be self aware enough to communicate well if challenges come up interpersonally. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
