About the job
We are seeking a kind, compassionate, dependable caregiver to assist my 90-year-old blind mother on an as-needed basis (mainly Saturdays & Sundays, 10 a.m. -6 p.m. ), with flexibility to occasionally cover weekdays. She lives alone with her small dog in her mountain home in Charlottesville. About Shelby: Shelby is fun, sweet, and loves to laugh. She enjoys audiobooks, has a calm routine, and is fairly easy to care for. Duties: Prepare simple meals, feed/walk dog, light cleanup, assist with dressing, provide meds, and help her walk safely. Requirements: Experience with elderly/blind care, kind personality, reliable 4WD or higher-clearance vehicle, references, and ability to assist mobility.
