My parents are looking for a live-in caretaker for 38-year-old sister. She is mentally and physically disabled, and requires round-the-clock attention. My parents watch her Sundays and Mondays. She attends an adult "school" program through the county from approx. 9 a.m. to 3 PM, so weekdays will require getting her awake, dressed, and out the door, then watching her from 3 p.m. until bedtime about 8 p.m. Responsibilities include meal prep, feeding, dressing, light housekeeping, transportation, diapers, and bathing. There is a wheel-in shower, and the house generally is quite handicap-friendly. Rooney is limited on communication but understands a lot. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. Most of the time will be just hanging out with her. She's a funny, special girl, but one with significant challenges.
