I need a live-in home care provider experience for my stepmother in her 70s to provide respite for my father. We will have simple meals ready to heat up and she takes two medications that are in medication boxes. She will need prompting to eat and get dressed due to her dementia. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with pets ( a lovable but big Newfoundland outside dog) She will sleep most of the time, but needs prompting to dress herself and get up and eat. She can be left alone for several hours during the daylight hours if needed and she is sleeping. She does not wander and has never demonstrated combative behavior. The home is a cabin and in beautiful scenery. Clean, warm and idyllic for the holidays.
