Companion Care Needed For My Husband In Salt Lake City

I need a companion care provider with Dementia experience for my husband in his late 70's. He lives at The Ridge Foothill in his own apartment in Assisted Living. While he has mild to moderate dementia, he is mobile and he is still extremely communicative. Your main focus would be to make sure that he is continuing to go to activities that the Ridge provides and engage with him consistently so that he continues to use his verbal skills. Although you must have a current CNA license, your job is more companion based. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements however The Ridge has staff who are supposed to supervise showers 4x a week-he prefers a males Again I am looking for someone to provide companionship. He is a kind and gentle person. CPR / first-aid certified is required. Also, Non Smoker and verifiable references.
