About who needs care: She turned 79 in August. She had a knee replacement on July 28, 2025. She fell and hit her head in October. They said she had a mild stroke and she was in rehab for a bit. She just changed over to a geriatrics doctor a few weeks ago. They are trying to control her anxiety and blood pressure. She lives in an over 55 senior apartments where she has friends and they also have a lot of activities. She lives alone. I believe because of her anxiety she isn't getting out and socializing like she normally would. I've asked her to go and participate with activities, and she says she just isn't ready to be around people. This is unlike her. Myself, my brother, sister n law and nephews help her as much as we can when we aren't working. She wants to sew again, but she's wanted to do that for over 8 years now. She needs motivation to do more than play Pokemon Go and follow people on U-Tube. Just being honest. About the care needs: She is normally social and likes to talk. Someone personable would be great. Someone to meal prep for her. She needs someone to help her with simple household chores. Her apartment is a 1 bed/1bath clean and simple. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
