Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Rockwall

About who needs care: My mother is currently going through chemo for metastasized lung cancer (non-smoking) and is very weak. She can't get around the house on her own, and my father needs to have some rest each day. So I'd love to have someone who could come (exact hours TBD) and give him a break. Prior to chemo, my mother was getting around somewhat okay, but the treatment is wiping her out, and her needs seem to vary by week. Right now, her day is spent sitting in a recliner and trying to eat (she has severe dysphagia). Both of my parents are very religious (Christian), so someone who holds similar beliefs would be ideal. They like positive reinforcement in the form of scripture... which is not really my thing. About the care needs: Again, positivity and a solid understanding of very religious people in their 80s will go a long way. Would be great to have someone familiar with the challenges of dysphagia. My dad will be a bit of a challenge, since he still thinks he can do everything that is needed (he's 85). But it should be quick to win him over, and then he's very kind. My mom loves everybody, but she's gettign discouraged. So I can't over-stress the importance of an optimistic outlook. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
