About who needs care: My son had a major stroke in August. He needs help bathing , and dressing. He is paralyzed on his left side. He could also benefit with someone who could work with him on small things like making his bed or hanging up his clothes. Just daily things that we all take for granted he can't do . A good day would be up by 8, breakfast meds, exercise, shower and nap before physical therapy. About the care needs: Honesty and compassion and patience. They need to have post stroke knowledge of cognitive and physical problems. Someone that likes the outdoors and collecting Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
