About who needs care: My wife is recovering from surgery. She doesn't walk unassisted, but can transfer fine and walks some on the walker with assistance. Mostly transport wheelchair and sits in her chair in the living room. She has a touch of delerium, so needs to be reminded she can't walk, but it mostly lucid. All I need is someone to sit with her, and help her to the chair and to the toilet and back. I'm looking for respite care, so I can leave as needed. I'm a musician so rehearsals, gigs, going to the grocery store, and just a bit away. I'm the 24/7 caregiver. Intermittent, anywhere from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. or so (mostly mornings). 3 hours or so per visit. Probably about 10 hours a week, maybe more or less depending on the week. Not the same dates every week, it does vary. About the care needs: She doesn't talk much. No hobbies or anything, she watches TV and reads on her tablet or phone. And it'll only be 3 hours on average. I'll feed her mostly, or there'll be TV dinners on the rare occasion I'm out at meal time. Services needed include: mobility assistance.
