We need companion care to take care of our mother and father who reside in an Assisted Living Facility in Kyle. Some light tidying up is involved. Oversight of the Assisted Living and Hospice staff is one of our requirements. Responsibilities include ensuring appropriate care is provided in a timely manner. The facility provides all meals, meds, weekly housekeeping, linen change and laundry services. Looking for a caring, compassionate, responsible and assertive companion/advocate. Must be experienced with transfers from chair to wheelchair when needed. Open and direct communication a must. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, who pays attention to every detail and willing to advocate for our parents. Schedule can be flexible and does not always have to be a continuous 8 hr shift. Excellence in character and morals expected.
