About who needs care: I'm elderly and disabled due to consistent walks and falls. I cannot reach high or heavy things. I cannot mop or vacuum anymore. I now need mild assistance getting dressed with back closings and also putting my shoes on . I like the outside, flowers, hanging baskets, TV, music, Bible study, cooking. The day my assistant comes I would like: Mopping the kitchen, entryway and bathrooms. Vacuuming and or sweeping should be #1. The bathtub needs to be cleaned once or twice a month. The dishes need to be prewashed and placed in the dishwasher. Take the trash out to City Can if needed. Occasionally I will need the oven cleaned. I will put the oven cleaner on the night before. Occasionally I will also need my assistant to help me bring groceries in and unload them to the proper location. The drawers in the refrigerator will need to be cleaned occasionally. I think this is a good summary of the home maintenance I will need assistance with. My house is small so the assistance will not be extravagant. Oh, I do need my medicine put in my pillbox weekly. And I also need assistance taking the sheets off of my queen size bed. I usually was them every other week unless a major accident occurs. About the care needs: A social personality; kind,; friendly; good housekeeping. A voluntary person, thorough in the skills they perform and cleanup afterwards. A good open-minded cook. Hopefully they will not be recovering from a major surgery that is putting them in the same condition I am currently suffering from. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
