About who needs care: My grandmother has dementia. She is very easy going and still in relatively early stages. She is waking up around 4-6 p.m. which isnt ideal, but her doctor informed us that she needs this rest. This is hard to manage as we have to make breakfast for herand dinner for the family at the same time. We also have to bathe her and do everything at the end of our day when we are already tired. She is easy going, we just need some help. About the care needs: My grandmother would someone that is understanding, funny, and does not treat her like a patient. She is very verbal about what she wants (water, snacks, and LOTS of diet coke) and just needs someone to direct her and help her through her tasks. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
