About who needs care: My mom is a retired social worker and she loves mystery stories, westerns and historical epics. She likes to garden, do crafts/needlecrafts, and used to do stained glass sometimes. She is a very sweet lady and watches too much MSNBC. She is mobility impaired recently. She could use help organizing the home, laundry, light cleaning, some hygiene tasks, dressing, putting away groceries, going outside stroll around the block. I think ideally she would wake up around 11, shower and dress, take care of the house, do some enriching activity, visit with a friend or talk on the phone, and watch TV or a movie in the evening. About the care needs: Just someone kind and patient and encouraging, and not conservative. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
