About who needs care: My 95-year-old mother fell on November 21st breaking her left hip. She had hip replacement surgery the following day and it has been downhill for her ever since. Her verbal ability has greatly declined, she is not eating or taking much fluids, and shes basically bedridden. Very weak. She was moved via ambulance last night after 10 days in the hospital and taken to Crossroads Skilled Nursing in Hearne , Tx . The facility is very nice as was the staff, but we feel she needs more, a lot more, one on one care. We are at this point researching other options for her care. About the care needs: A very friendly and loving personality. Need to be able to care for her bathroom needs, bathing, general hygiene, and administer all prescription medication . Help her dress, etc Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
