About who needs care: She has dementia and has dysphasia. She does understand what you are saying. She cant communicate very well. Some days are better than others. She had hip surgery in January 2025 and spinal surgery due to spinal stenosis (spinal cord was being squeezed) in August of 2025. Because of the surgeries she is very weak still in her legs etc. She has PT coming in home and speech therapy coming in home. She likes to watch tv and go for walks in her wheelchair when the weather is nice. About the care needs: She is about 99-100lbs so they will need to lift her to get her from her wheelchair to recliner, from wheelchair to bed and be able to get her on the toilet every once in awhile. She can stand so its not like lifting dead weight but she needs to be held onto to make sure she doesnt fall in the process. Will need to be caring, patient, talk to her and other family members. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
