About who needs care: My dad has stage IV pancreatic cancer. He has lost a lot of weight very quickly and is now not very mobile so my family and I are having to do most things for him. He is also struggling with low mood and not wanting to go do things. We would want a caretaker to help with the following: - changing and washing the bedding daily (he has bad night sweats) - daily clothes laundry - companionship (maybe helping him with a hobby or just getting him out of his chair to go sit outside etc) - making him food - some general house clean up - getting him motivated to get out of his chair to go shower About the care needs: Very calm, chill, warm personality. Someone willing to listen to my dad ramble and tell stories. Also someone with a lot of patience as my dad can be short and rude/agitated at times Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
