Hands-on Care Needed For My Husband In Dallas

About who needs care: My husband had a stroke 4/28 of this year. His right arm and right leg are "neglected" and the aphasia has greatly affected his speech. He is living at home and is is picked up in the mornings to go to all day PT/OT/Speech Therapy. They bring him home and he gets in from 4:45-5:15. I need someone to be there to get him when they get home, get him into the apartment in his wheel chair and help him with the restroom and a snack. I get home around 6:30-6:45. He is wheel chair bound but he can walk 50 feet or so using a four pronged cane and a little assistance going from sitting to standing and guiding him with his gait belt. That is how we get him into the restroom and in bed at night. Usually the incontience during the day is minimal but due to the lengthy commute home from the rehab every once in a while he will need to be cleaned and changed. He is easy going and tries hard to help with his own care as much as possible. About the care needs: Someone who is not embarassed by bodily functions and the intimacy that goes with caring for someone with incontinence and slow responses. Strong enough to lead him with his gait belt and his can to go to the restroom. A kind heart is always a plus. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
