About who needs care: My mom is a resident of independent living volmunity in Conroe. She is schd to b released from rehab 12/5 but could b later if ins will allow her to continue PT and OT. Im looking for someone who can care for my mom in the am from 8 a.m. -12 p.m. with a break in between then the pm from 4-8 p.m. Monday-sunday for the next couple of months till asst living community has a room for her to move her. I might have to revise these times as we determine her level of care. She needs assistance with bathing 3 times a week at the start of the new year because her ins Elite Home Health will b covering that till end of this yr. Assistance with walking to dining room for each meal or pick it up from dining room if she just cant walk for that meal. Assistance with incontinence. Assistance with walking to activity center. Doing laundry once a week. Call me please to discuss, if interested in any shifts. About the care needs: My mom is 5 foot and 2 inches about 198 lbs so someone who can help her from sitting position. My mom has all her wits very intelligent so on days she is not up to walking to activity room, maybe play a game with her. My mom does not hear well, so someone who can talk loud and precisely close to her right ear. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
