About who needs care: She broke her femur most recently and is now mostly wheelchair dependent although she can stand to some degree, she is a fall risk. She was an avid seamstress and loved to garden. She awakes around 8 and gets dressed, then has her morning meal with coffee and takes her meds. Her day is pretty laid back. She like to watch old shows or sit on the porch. She likes to take her bath in the afternoons. About the care needs: She is very opinionated and can be stubborn. She is still having a hard time coming to terms with the wheelchair. Someone would need to be able to deal with a more independent minded lady and be ok with redirecting her away from things that may hurt her such as weeding the flower bed. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
