Hi! I'm Kate. My husband and I live in Cherrywood and we are moving my little brother up from Houston to an apartment in Muller. He is 35, IDD, and SO sweet! He loves video games, movies, and food, and is super social. He has been in Best Buddies in the past, and we had really amazing success with his buddy in that he provided friendship and a supportive ear. We are looking for someone to check in most days and say hi, make sure his medications are fulfilled and being taken, make sure he has groceries stocked (and take him to the grocery store weekly), things like that. He is totally healthy, just takes a few medications. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. We might ask you to run him to an appointment now and then.
