About who needs care: My mother is diabetic, depressive, has anxiety and chronic pain. She has difficulties performing daily tasks like cooking for herself, doing the dishes, and taking out the trash. She is also lonely even though she only lives . 25 miles from my sister. She needs help with those daily tasks and someone she can talk to face to face. About the care needs: Patient and friendly person who is well suited to have conversations with an elderly woman and a willing ear. My mother is from Germany so if you have a German speaking person or someone with an European immigrant background that would be great. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
