About who needs care: She is in the palliative care stage of ovarian cancer. She has a nephrostamy tube. She has very severe lymphedema in her legs and torso. She has painful spasms in her urethra. She finds it very difficult to walk, bath, and controlling her bladder function. She needs a care giver to help her out for a few hours each morning to afternoon, with possible longer stays if her husband is out of the house for longer periods of time. About the care needs: A caregiver with patience, able to do a range of tasks, preferably with some nursing experience and palliative/hospice care. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
