Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Hixson

About who needs care: My 89-year-old dad needs some overnight help; getting ready for bed; eye drops in his eyes; and someone to be there when he gets up in the night. My mom is also there but she is exhausted and needs extra help. About the care needs: Dad has dementia so his personality can vary. He is mostly pleasant but can get angry. He gets confused at night sometimes. He gets up in the middle of the night to feed the cats and has fallen multiple times. My mom doesn't hear him when she is asleep and doesn't have her hearing aides in. He has glaucoma and is legally blind but can see. He has a series of drops that go in his eyes every night and then needs assistance getting his pajamas on and getting covered up. He is gradually going down hill and needing more and more help with these daily activities which fall on my mom. I live out of town and am unable to be there as often as I would like. We need someone to help take care of dad to ease the burden on her. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
